Poison Ivy

Poison Ivy was a post-punk/new wave band from Utrecht, The Netherlands. Formed in 1979, they toured the Dutch club circuit between 1980 and 1982, sharing stages with bands such as Fischer-Z and The Jam.

In 1981, the band signed with Mercury Records (now part of Universal Music Group) and released their album “Decadence”, featuring the singles “Marilyn” and “Bobby”. The album was recorded at Wisseloord Studios and produced by Eric Boom.

The lineup consisted of Jos van de Pavert (vocals), Pieter Vonk (keyboards), Theo Hendriks (bass), Cees van Rijn (drums) and Richard Daalmeijer (guitar).
